Bigg Boss 14 is already getting tense after completion of the first two weeks. There has been an outbreak of conflicts, arguments and daily drama all around the week and the Weekend Ka Vaar just seems to multiply it. After the first Weekend Ka Vaar, Sara Gurpal was evicted from the show which left not only the housemates but also the audience in a shock and after the second Weekend Ka Vaar, Rubina Dilaik has expressed her wish to quit the show over what Salman Khan said to her during the weekend episode.
This wish of her to quit the show came after an incident where the host of the show, Salman Khan, called her husband, Abhinav Shukla who has entered the show with her, “saaman” (luggage). Bigg Boss called Rubina in the confession room and asked for the reason behind her being upset to which Rubina replied that she felt insulted over how Salman addressed her husband during the weekend. She broke down while talking to Bigg Boss and said, “I feel utterly disrespected, I believe in mutual respect and I cannot function and work at a place where I feel disrespected.” Rubina further said that she has convinced Abhinav to be a part of the show, so it is her responsibility that he gets all the respect as an individual.
It all happened during the Weekend Ka Vaar, where Salman was pinning Rubina over her behaviour and attitude towards the tasks that she was assigned to do. Salman also asked her to pack the bags and leave if she does not want to do her tasks. Adding on to this, the host quipped that “Aapka sara personal saaman Bigg Boss ke paas hai sirf ek saman aap ghar ke andar le aayi hain“. This was very insulting for Rubina and Abhinav, expressed Rubina in the confession room. However, Bigg Boss explained to Rubina that Salman was trying to make her understand after she refused to be a part of the tasks and also neglected the rules of the show. Bigg Boss told Rubina that “He never wanted to say that Abhinav is a burden for Rubina. We are sure he was only joking.”
After Rubina, Bigg Boss called Abhinav Shukla to the confession room and he explained Abhinav the conversation with Rubina. However, Abhinav said that he had no issues with what Salman said. The contestant said that he understands that Salman must be pulling his leg and it is okay. He further expressed how he is a fan of the host’s sense of humour.
