In Bigg Boss 14, the housemates have revealed their adventurous trips, real-life experiences, and their phobias. In the recent Extra Masala clip, Rakhi Sawant admits that she can’t light the gas stove alone because she has a phobia.
In the clip, Rakhi opens up about her strange phobia with gas stoves. She reveals that she can’t light up a gas stove just because she has a phobia. She tells Abhinav Shukla and Rubina Dilaik that as a child, she lost her grandfather because of her mistake. The couple looks shocked and asks her how did it happen.
Rakhi tells them, “Maa kaam pe gayi thi, dadaji khana bana rahe the, aur hum chhote chhote baache the. Toh dal mein chokh laga rahe the, aur maine peeche se unke khapde ko kheech diya, jisse voh chokh dal mein girne ke jagah gas ke gir aur aag lag gayi jisse unke pure body pe aag lagi gyi thi aur jaal gye, toh mein tabse daar gayi.”
She adds that she watched her grandfather’s burning body. Since then, she gets scared while turning on the gas, and even today, she gets scared. Now, she lives in her flat and for starting three days she didn’t eat food just because she was scared as the gas stove at her new house wasn’t automatic.
After being hungry for three days, she gained some confidence and tried turning on gas but couldn’t do it the first time. The third time she turned on the gas, she gained some confidence and started cooking again.
