The recent episode of Bigg Boss 14 felt like a high pitched Netflix rom-com. Some of the contestants were competing against each other to be the captain. It is this time when the planning and plotting began. The position was supposed to be decided among Rahul Vaidya, Nishant Singh Malkani, Jaan Kumar Sanu and Nikki Tamboli and the latter ended up being betrayed by her “friends”. Jaan, who mostly kept quiet the entire time, was accused of being a fake friend by Nikki and he couldn’t keep his emotions in control.
During the task; Nishant, Jaan and Rahul decided Nikki was not fit to be a captain. According to them, she was child-like and did not have the maturity to take important decisions. This hurt the actor’s feelings and she started saying how she did not have real friends in the house. To this, Jaan said, “Just because I am keeping quiet, everyone is messing around.” He then got himself disqualified from the task, clearing the path for master manipulator Nishant to be the captain.
Jaan was never shown to be the emotional one in the house but that night, he couldn’t control himself. The singer started crying, and continued to do so even after Nikki had apologized to him. He then went to his bed, took out a photo of his mother and wept. Nishant then brought some tea to make him feel good. He then asked the singer to share his feelings, to which he responded by saying, “Missing my ma. Never had an emotional episode in this house before.”
Jaan and Nikki had come quite close in the house. It will be interesting to see if they are able to repair their relationship.
