In an Extra Masala video of Bigg Boss 14, captain Kavita Kaushik was reminiscing the stories shared by her father. She shares, that her father Dinesh Chandra Kaushik was a police officer who was posted in Calcutta( now Kolkata) during his days of bachelorhood. And in those days, people used to call him over for dinners quite often.
Then she shares, that in one such instance when he visited his acquaintance’s place for the first time they served his father only ‘dal-chawal’ ( pulses and rice). He was amused to see only two items on the table. But then he assumed that probably that was it for dinner. He quickly got over with the heap of rice. And just when he thought that his meal was over, and was about to get up, different food items like ‘Kosha Mangsho’ , fish curry and prawns started coming in from the kitchen. Curious Kavita then asks her father, “phir papa, apne woh nahi khaya?( then papa, didn’t you eat that food?)” Her father then assures her that he finished all that was served to him.
Abhinav and Kavita burst out laughing in the kitchen. The FIR actress further shares that the next time his father was called for a meal, he asked the hosts to first serve the food items kept in the kitchen rather than just pulses and rice.
