Art is always evolving. And so are the means for creating one. Actors Abhinav Shukla and Kavita Kaushik talk about the changes they have seen and have been a part of, over the years.
In an episode of Bigg Boss Xtra Masala, Abhinav Shukla started talking about the difference in the camera lenses. He talks about his debut, which happened at the time the cinematographers were shifting from film camera to digital camera. The actor glorified those cameramen by saying they were responsible for half of the budget as those reels were very expensive. He further went to talk about how amazing the grain of those movies was. Nowadays, the directors have the option to have innumerable retakes. The accuracy of the art is now lost.
Adding to the conversation, Kavita Kaushik talked about the time veteran actor Saira Banu had called her for a project. She told the fellow housemates how the legendary actor has complained about the modern artists. She said that every actor ends up spending time together even when they’re provided with individual rooms. Saira Banu then added how during her time, the rooms were a reflection of that particular actor. One could even smell the incense sticks of a particular room and tell the name of the actor whom the room belonged to.
