Shardul Pandit being a new candidate in the show, is keen on knowing about his inmates. In a recent snippet of Bigg Boss Extra Masalas, Shardul was seen having a candid conversation with Kavita Kaushik while working on chores. Observing people in the house, he remarked Nikki Tamboli‘s absence, with what can be safe to call, a bit of resentment. Kavita assured him that Nikki is in fact working as they spoke. “She’s not bad,” she said. Thinking that it’s probably true, Shardul nods and brings up his next concern. Bullying. Shardul feels that bullying and ganging up on a person happens to be a problem in the show. And, if there’s anything he despises, it’s bullying.
Kavita opened up about her struggles with bullying while growing up. Apparently, Kavita got severely bullied during high school. She was bullied by her seniors for having a desi accent in school. But, she realised that as an Indian, there isn’t anything wrong with having an Indian accent. She says that she saw bullying as a confrontation of her self-image which helped her become bold and confident about who she is. She then went on to encourage Shardul telling him, “Bully woh karta ha jo darta hai (It’s only when people are afraid of you do they bully you).” Shardul again agrees with her. It’s no wonder she’s captain at the house.
