The plot of the most recent Anupamaa episodes centred on Anu searching for her kidnapped son, Toshu. Given that he committed a theft and put the blame on her, he deserves punishment. Toshu dresses up as a different person and appears in front of Shah Parivaar during the Holi festivities. He is recognised by Anupamaa, who brings him to the police.
