Vighnaharta Ganesha show star, Akanksha Puri, is in her hometown after her father, RK Puri, suffered a stroke and had gone through brain surgery. The actress has recently quit the show and is now at a hospital in Indore taking care of her father. So far the news is that her father is doing well and is steadily recovering.
Akanksha Puri has disclosed the news after her father showed signs of steady recovery and she said, “My Dad had a stroke and I had to rush to Indore. Yesterday, brain surgery was performed on him and he is in better health now. Right now, I am at the hospital with him.” Talking about his improvement, she said, “He is ok, fighting this with a smile. He will take time to recover.”
The actress also shared a video of her father in bed at the hospital over her Twitter handle and the caption read, “My power, my strength, my superman, my father.
