The Twilight Saga which rose to international fame after getting its five film adaptations between 2008 and 2012, is now in talks to get a TV series version via Lionstage Television.

It is said that the author Stephenie Meyer, the original creator of her best-selling book series The Twilight Saga, will also be part of the Television adaptation. however, another author named Sinead Daly has also been hired to write the adaptation.

According to some television industry sources, Wyck Godfrey and Erik Feig have been hired as executive producers.

Released in 2008 and directed by Catherine Hardwicke, Chris Weitz, David Slade and Bill Condon, The Twilight Saga is a franchise of romance fantasy films, based on the novel series Twilight by author Stephenie Meyer.

Starring Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattison and Taylor Lautner, the main plot of the series revolves around the life of a girl named Bella Swan, whose life turns upside down when she moves to Washington and falls in love with Edward Cullen, only to discover later that he is a Vampire.

After the announcement of the news that the hit film series soon will get a TV series adaptation, fans all around the globe are very eager to watch what the television version has all to offer.
