According to sources at Box Office Worldwide, Shah Rukh Khan recently met with Sanjay Leela Bhansali to discuss his role in a special sequence for the film. If finalized, SRK will reportedly shoot his scenes in January 2025. His role is expected to feature in the second half of the film, involving an intense and pivotal interaction with Ranbir Kapoor’s character.
The production of Love And War is in full swing, with Ranbir Kapoor kicking off filming, followed by Alia Bhatt and Vicky Kaushal. Bhansali, known for his opulent storytelling, is said to be leaving no stone unturned to make this film a cinematic spectacle. Adding Shah Rukh Khan to the mix only adds to the allure of this already star-studded project.

Rumours suggest that Ranbir Kapoor and Vicky Kaushal will play Indian Armed Forces officers in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Love And War. This has further heightened the anticipation surrounding the high-profile release. According to a report in Pinkvilla, shooting for Love And War began with Ranbir Kapoor in November. A source informed the portal, “SLB is all ready to take the film on floors with Ranbir Kapoor. The actor will shoot for his solo sequences for a couple of weeks, and then be joined by Vicky Kaushal. Alia Bhatt, on the other hand, will begin Love And War after wrapping up Alpha in the first week of December.”
The film will be shot across various locations in India over the span of a year, with a planned schedule from November 2024 to October 2025. Love And War will release in theatres on 20th March, 2026.
