Crimes will be depicted more realistically in the upcoming fourth season of Tulsa King. Having a friendly relationship, the Paramount Network is working closely with the Tony-winning actor/producer to ensure that he remains authentic to his character, Dwight “The General” Manfredi. Starting in November 2025 with the conclusion of the highly dramatic Season Three finale, viewers are thoroughly engaged and excited about where the show will go next. Following months of production, Terence Winter has returned as head writer on the television series that was created by Taylor Sheridan and has established itself as a high-stakes multi-million dollar franchise on Paramount+. With all of the criminality that exists in and around Oklahoma, they incorporate both strong mobster culture and unexpected heart into the narrative of the show.

Tulsa King Season 4 Release Date Speculations

Paramount+ has given Tulsa King a fourth-season renewal, and filming is already underway.

As of early 2026, a release date has not yet been determined; however, based on how the show has rolled out in the past, with Season 3 premiering in September 2025 and concluding in November 2025, the fourth season will likely launch in fall 2026, possibly in September, with weekly releases of episodes to follow on Paramount+.

Filming reportedly started just after the end of Season 3 in November 2025, and it appears shooting is taking place in multiple locations, including Atlanta.

There may be Sheri Megley with Ziegler Agency and David DeAngelis with CAA. If Season 4’s timeline mirrors what has been done previously, we can anticipate it to be released in late 2026, but there is no confirmation from Paramount+.

Tulsa King Season 4 Expected Cast

This season, cast members return, and additions have been confirmed:

  • Sylvester Stallone as Dwight “The General” Manfredi, reprising his lead role.
  • Terence Winter returns as showrunner, head writer, and executive producer for Season 4, after stepping away during Season 3.
  • Gretchen Mol joins the cast as Amanda Clark, a Tulsa-based politician and new series regular.

Additional returning cast members from previous seasons—such as Andrea Savage, Martin Starr, and other core ensemble players—are expected but not yet fully reconfirmed by Paramount+.

It is also worth noting that the spin-off series NOLA King, centered on Samuel L. Jackson’s Season 3 character, will operate separately, suggesting some storyline divergence rather than direct overlap.

Tulsa King Season 4 Potential Plot

Paramount+ has not yet provided an official overview of Season Four. The story arc for Season 4 will likely follow directly on from the conclusion of Season 3 (“Jesus Lizard,” which aired on November 23, 2025). The finale saw Dwight Manfredi’s power and crime syndicate have both dramatically expanded, and therefore is likely to see Dwight face new threats related to a possible power struggle between rival gangs.

Throughout Season 4, the ramifications of Dwight’s increased dominance over Tulsa, including the introduction of Amanda Clark, and how it will potentially impact Dwight’s power bases from both a political and criminal standpoint, and the continued conflicts between Dwight’s rivals, as well as the continuing internal strife within Dwight’s organization.

There is the likelihood that the return of Terence Winter and his leadership of the writing staff could bode well for a heavy emphasis on creating long-form crime stories based on character-driven storytelling, with lots of the show’s signature amount of tension and dark comedy.
