Sonakshi Sinha’s upcoming series ‘Dahaad’ to stream on Amazon Prime on THIS date

Sonakshi Sinha is all set to make her OTT debut with the ‘Dahaad’ web series and will be seen sharing the screen with Vijay Sharma. The series will stream from 12th May 2023 on Amazon Prime Video. The actress has announced through her Instagram account and captioned it by writing, ‘Only a powerful roar can uncover the truth #DahaadOnPrime, New series, May 12.’ She was seen wearing a police uniform in the poster with the background being the faces of all women who have gone missing in the show.

Dahaad is a crime-thriller drama created by Reema Kagti and Zoya Akhtar. It is produced by Excel Media & Entertainment and Tiger Baby. The series stars Sonakshi Sinha, Vijay Sharma, Gulshan Drvaiah and Sohum Shah in pivotal roles.

The story revolves around a sub-inspector Anjali Bhaati who persists to solve a mysterious case of women being disappeared from a small town in Rajasthan. She takes on the case and later on will encounter some shocking truths regarding the people in the village. The show will follow a tremendous amount of twists and turns that will keep you hooked throughout the end. It has 8 episodes in total with a running time of one-hour approximately.

The show initially premiered on 22nd February 2022 at the 73rd Berlin International Film Festival in Germany and also become the first Indian series to release on such a renowned platform.
