There are some shows that leave viewers wanting more because they so completely capture their hearts! Hugh Howey’s Wool trilogy of novels served as the basis for one such dystopian television series Graham Yost developed. You guessed correctly, “Silo” season one, recently launched, has caught the interest of Apple TV+’s loyal fans all around the world.

The review aggregator website Rotten Tomatoes recorded an 87% approval rating with an average rating of 7.4/10 based on 53 critic reviews, making it one of the best-received debuts on Apple TV+. A weighted average review site called Metacritic gave the movie a score of 75 out of 100, which it interpreted as “generally favourable reviews.”

There is no doubt that the fans have begun to speculate about whether the show would be extended for a second season or not given the positive reception it has received. You’ve come to the right place if you have the same question! You’re not the only one who wonders what Juliette Nichols’ future holds. We have gathered all the most recent information on Silo Season 2 that is currently available for your convenience.

Will there be another season of Silo Season 2

We are aware that there is tremendous interest in the series’ renewal, but we must let our readers know that, as of the time of writing, Apple TV+ has not made any fresh announcements regarding the series’ early renewal.

There are still three episodes left to run before the season finishes on June 30, 2023, making it considerably too early to accurately assess the reception in terms of ratings and viewership for an early renewal, which is one of the reasons the show hasn’t been renewed.

Consequently, it makes sense that the network hasn’t leaped at the chance to renew the programme this quickly. On the plus side, however, there appears to be hope since numerous reports suggest that the second season is in process.

Especially when we consider that recently, author Hugh Howey stated, “You have to rely on the reception, the quality of the product, the faith in the studio, that you get to tell the rest of the story,” he said. “We left a lot out because we haven’t got to tell the entire saga yet. There are so many stages to this.” He added: “My sense is that if we try to tell all three books, the whole trilogy, it would probably take four seasons, possibly. But there’s a way to tell it in three, and those conversations are just always ongoing.”

On the other hand, its been noticed that the network frequently cancels a show after just one season owing to disputes that develop behind the scenes or because the show’s creators no longer share the show’s vision, which results in a decrease in the amount of money invested in the creation of new episodes. Due of this, if the show isn’t moving ahead as a collective effort, the network tends to cancel it without committing more money.

Of course, there is now nothing to worry about for fans of Silo Season 2 because anything may happen at this point and the situation is neither here nor there.
