After giving a smashing hit like Kabir Singh, Shahid Kapoor has become every filmmakers favourite with a dozen films lined up for his choice.
While the actor gears up of the release of his upcoming movie ‘Jersey’ on November 5, 2021, we hear that Shahid has reportedly been approached for an action-thriller series on the OTT platform, that will be directed-produced by Nikkhil Advani.
Reportedly, the actor has been approached by to discuss the project over a virtual meeting and Shahid is said to have liked the script.
A source told Instant Bollywood, “Not much is known about the project yet but it is an action thriller that Nikkhil has been planning for over a year now. He wanted an A-list actor from the younger generation to play the lead. He approached Shahid for the same and they have discussed the whole project virtually over a meeting since Shahid is not in town. Shahid has liked the whole idea and the script and now, the team is trying to work out the modalities, before finalizing it.”
A report by Bollywood Hungama suggests that Nikkhil had offered ‘Bell Bottom’ to Shahid as well. Shahid had liked the script but due to unavailability of dates he had to pass up on the offer. The role was later offered to Akshay Kumar.
