The first season of Sex/Life is a romantic comedy series created by Stacy Rukeyser which came as a surprise hit in the year 2021 in summer season all thanks to its risque and raunchy story. The second season of the series was released on Netflix on 2nd March, 2023.
The actress of the show Sarah Shahi talked about her time on the show when she appeared on the Not Skinny But Not Fat Podcast. The actress said, “I’m not going to put it down, but I definitely did not have the support that I did the first season from the people involved in the show. I became a much different thing for me, and I’m not afraid to say that.” She further added, “I struggled with the material. I just felt the thing that it had the first season – I mean, I’m never gonna work for Netflix again now after saying all this, but I can’t lie. And it was definitely a challenge.”
This revelation from the actress’s side has led to cancellation of Sex/Life season 3 from Netflix. The news was confirmed on 7th April, 2023. This cancellation is considered to be one of the most high profile cancellation of 2023.
