Bhojpuri cinema’s power star Pawan Singh has once again made headlines, this time for his candid conversation on the reality show Rise and Fall, streaming on MX Player. Known for his blockbuster songs and films, Pawan Singh is now opening up about his personal life on screen — and many fans believe his latest remarks might have indirectly touched upon his long-rumoured affair with Bhojpuri actress-singer Akshara Singh.
Pawan Singh opens up about marriage and love life
In a viral video from the show, Pawan Singh is seen chatting with actor Arjun Bijlani. When asked if he never felt like getting married, Pawan replied:
“I was married. But my world was destroyed in three months. She left this world. I have lost a goddess.”
He went on to add, without naming anyone directly, “After a few years, there was some more trouble in life. Actually, in the line we are in, if you work with someone continuously, you get close to them. It is said that if there is an animal in the house, you get attached to it. But my family did not like this. Then my family got me married somewhere else, but that too did not go well. Now the divorce case is going on…”

Though Pawan Singh avoided taking names, fans quickly connected his remarks to his past relationship with Akshara Singh, one of Bhojpuri cinema’s leading stars. The two worked together in multiple films, sparking a bond that reportedly extended off-screen as well. Their relationship, however, ended on a bitter note, with Akshara later levelling serious allegations against Pawan, including claims of assault.
Pawan Singh’s marriage to Jyoti Singh
After his alleged breakup with Akshara, Pawan Singh tied the knot with Jyoti Singh in 2018. But that marriage too ran into trouble, and the couple is currently going through divorce proceedings.
The buzz continues
While Pawan Singh did not explicitly mention Akshara Singh, his comments on Rise and Fall have reignited speculation about their past. For now, his fans and the Bhojpuri industry remain divided — some praising him for his honesty, while others questioning the indirect remarks on national television.
