Episode 10 of Rise and Fall took an emotional turn as choreographer and influencer Dhanashree Verma opened up about her personal journey post-divorce with cricketer Yuzvendra Chahal. Speaking candidly, she declared, “I am done finding my love, will be the female Salman Khan of this industry.”
The remark instantly struck a chord with the audience, hinting at the emotional scars left behind by her very public separation. Dhanashree and Chahal, who married in December 2020 after meeting during online dance classes in the pandemic, legally parted ways in March 2025.
The divorce saga had earlier come into the spotlight when Dhanashree shared on a Humans of Bombay podcast that she broke down in court during the final hearing. She also poked fun at Chahal’s courtroom choice of a T-shirt reading “Be Your Own Sugar Daddy”, joking: “Arre bhai, WhatsApp kar deta. T-shirt kyun pehna hai?”
