Rashami Desai and Tanuj Virwani upcoming web series ‘Tandoor’ is all set to hit the floor on July 23. The series will also mark the Rashami’s digital debut. The crime-thriller series is loosely inspired by a true event in Delhi, where a wife is allegedly murdered by her politician husband. Today (July 12), the creators released Tandoor’s trailer and also revealed the release date. The show will take off on Ullu app on July 23.

Talking about her role and working in the digital web show, Rashami Desai confessed to IndiaToday, “As the script of Tandoor came to me, I was very sure that I wanted to do this show. The character is based in the 80s, and even then Palak is outspoken, fearless, and amazingly intelligent. I’m quite sure that the audience will admire the change and versatility of an actor that I’m trying to portray here. Tanuj has been absolutely fun to work with and has been there for me throughout the shoot.”
Meanwhile, a romantic song ‘Tujh Bin’ from Tandoor, was released on social media. Today, both the actors shared the trailer on their Instagram handles. Tanuj’s wrote, “Tandoor Trailer Ek khaufnaak qatl ki dastaan.”Tandoor”. Here you go guys. It’s finally here. Check it out and let me know your thoughts. Show drops on the 23rd of July.”
The crime-thriller web series is directed by Nivedita Basu and produced by Nivedita Basu, Chitra Vakil Sharma and Chandni Soni.
