The beloved comedy-drama Panchayat is all set to return for its fourth season, and the excitement is palpable. As the show marked its five-year anniversary on April 3, 2025, Amazon Prime Video treated fans to a special surprise: the release date for Panchayat Season 4 is officially July 2, 2025.
Adding to the buzz, Prime Video has now announced that the teaser for the new season will be unveiled on May 3, just hours away.
A journey that started in 2020
First premiered during the pandemic in April 2020, Panchayat follows Abhishek Tripathi, a city-bred engineering graduate who lands a job as a Panchayat secretary in the rural village of Phulera. The show’s simple setting, sharp wit, and emotional depth quickly made it a cult favorite.
To commemorate the show’s milestone, Prime Video shared a quirky promotional video featuring Jitendra Kumar, Jia Manek, and Darshan Magdum. The fun exchange about “productivity over five years” ends with the much-anticipated announcement—Sachiv Ji is coming back.
