The official trailer for Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story has been released by Netflix on YouTube. It will be streaming on Netflix from 4th May.
Julia Quinn’s Bridgerton series was categorized as the New York Times bestselling books. The novels were published between 2000-2006. Shonda Rhimes created the show Bridgerton for Netflix in 2022 and again it had come up with a sensational sequel to the original series. The story shows a powerful love relationship between Queen Charlotte and King George Ill.
Golda Rosheuvel from the previous series will be seen in the series. India Ria Amarteifio will be acting as the young Queen Charlotte, Corey Mylchrequest as the Young King George Ill, Michelle Fairley as Princess Augusta, Arsema Thomas as Young Agatha Danbury and Connie Jenkins-Greig as Young Violet Ledger. Some characters will also appear in the show making a relevant position.
The story depicts the life of Queen Charlotte while she was young and how she met King George III. It witnesses the struggle she went through and the societal backlash that she faced. The videos uploaded by Bridgerton’s official Instagram account does give us a small glimpse as to how the story is going to proceed. The Season 2 of Bridgerton ended by giving us quick insights into the classic love story.
The series will consist of 6 elongated episodes. Netflix released the trailer in March, to create a fuss about the series over several platforms. The promotion has been done for quite a while now and the makers have been releasing new posters presenting the chemistry between the main actors. Also, the production of Bridgerton’s season 3 started in July, but the official release date hadn’t been announced.
The viewers will be thrilled to watch the electrifying bond that is filled with love, lust, pain and diplomatic desires. It might also unveil some horrifying truths about certain higher authorities.
