Netflix has recently unveiled the highly anticipated first trailer for the upcoming series titled “Guns & Gulaabs,” which stars the talented actors Dulquer Salmaan and Rajkummar Rao. The series is a creation of the renowned India-based filmmaking duo, Raj Nidimoru, and Krishna D.K., famously known as Raj & DK, produced under their D2R Films banner as part of their multi-year creative partnership with Netflix.
Set in the fictional town of Gulaabganj, the series pays homage to the vibrant era of 1990s Bollywood and weaves together a captivating blend of genres. The storyline follows a lovestruck mechanic, an unwilling heir to a ruling gang, and an honest officer-turned-agent-of-chaos. Additionally, the series portrays the innocence and trials of growing up in a small town through the experiences of a trio of schoolmates, including heartbreaks and betrayal.

Apart from the talented leads, the cast also includes Adarsh Gourav from “The White Tiger,” T.J. Bhanu from “Afwaah,” Gulshan Devaiah from “Dahaad,” and the late Satish Kaushik in one of his final screen roles in “Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan.”
