The release date for Tiku Weds Sheru, starring Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Avneet Kaur, was announced by the movie’s producers on Monday. The comedy-drama is produced by actress Kangana Ranaut’s Manikarnika Films and directed by Sai Kabir Srivastva.
The movie Tiku Weds Sheru is described as the story of two oddball, starry-eyed personalities who wish to succeed in Bollywood.
On June 23, Tiku Weds Sheru will be available on Amazon Prime Video.
On social media, Kangana published a movie poster with the main actors and shared the release date.
“Hold tight for a hilarious joyride filled with love, dreams, and non-stop laughter as Tiku & Sheru chase their ultimate bollywood dream! 💗#TikuWedsSheruOnPrime, June 23,” she captioned the post.
“Save the date for the wildest wedding of the year as Tiku & Sheru take you on their roller coaster journey filled with mischief and joy,” said Avneet alongside the same poster on her official Instagram account.
Working as a creative producer on Tiku Weds Sheru was a “challenging-yet-enriching” experience, according to Kangana in a statement.
Kangana is a producer for the first time, and she says she “absolutely enjoyed the process.”
In the past, Kangana referred to the movie as a “COVID baby” because it was born during the second pandemic wave. Additionally, the actress had stated that the movie was a “love story amidst the beauty and brutality of life.”
Nawazuddin will take on the role of Sheru in the movie while Avneet plays Tiku.
