The most awaited sequel of Mirzapur has finally got a release date. Amazon Prime Video has been creating a lot of buzz around the release date on their social media. Netizens have been spamming the whole cast member’s social media with questions like, “Mirzapur 2 kab aaraha hai?” On 24th August at 12 pm, Prime Video released a small video with the date of release.
Mirzapur 2 will now release on the OTT platform on 23rd October, 2020. Yes, the date has been now finalised.

The video shows few scenes from the first season and is narrated by Ali Fazal aka Guddu bhaiya. The video ends with the dialogue, ” Humse sab cheen liye aur hume zinda chor diye. Galti Kiye!” Now we have to wait and watch what Guddu Bhaiya will do to avenge Bablu’s (Vikrant Massey)death.
The crime based series will hit the OTT Platform after one year and 10 months after the first season was premiered in 2018. The show was supposed to release in April but due to the ongoing pandemic, it was postponed. The makers have now completed all post production and dubbing for the show and has also handed over the final copy to Amazon prime.
The show deals with mafia don in a small village of Uttar Pradesh, Purvanchal where drugs and guns are sold unlawfully, and the government is corrupt. The show also features Pankaj Tripathi, Ali Fazal, Divyendu Sharma, Shweta Tripathi and Harshita Kaur.
