Munawar Faruqui, the comedian who has been cast in the reality programme “Lock Upp,” has shown his daring side in a trailer posted by ALTBalaji and MX Player.

In the trailer, Kangana Ranaut, the host, is shown asking him (in Hindi) why he came here, to mess with her?

She then chuckles and tells them that she was joking and that they may tell jokes as well.

He said he doesn’t have to change anything with comedy, pointing to Kangana. He also added that until date, no artist has been able to bring about any revolution.

Kangana, who appears to be furious, asks him a question about what exactly did he say? She then added that a revolution cannot be brought about by an artist, he would have received a death sentence if one existed.

Munawar then responds in a comedic manner, telling him not to threaten him.

Many of Munawar’s followers have recently chastised him for appearing on Kangana’s reality programme, and he has taken to social media to clarify his position.

Munawar then clarified his stand through the Instagram post with a caption, “Will never let u down.”
