According to Tellychakkar, the actress contacted Shehnaaz and asked her to become a jailor in Lock Upp. According to reports, the self-proclaimed “Punjab’s Katrina Kaif” consented to participate in the show. There were rumours that the OTT show’s creators had approached the actress-singer before, but she couldn’t say yes owing to other job commitments.
