In the most talked showed Lock Upp, contestants are told to pledge for the game. All the contestants get lined up before the pledge. Shivam Sharma is seen running out directly from the shower just rapping a towel, as he hears the call for the pledge taking time. Everyone on seeing Shivam start to laugh, and Munawar also tries to make fun of him, as he tries to pull Shivam’s towel. Shivam tells, “oye, kuch nahi pehna hai mene andar.” Shivam moves and settles his towel, while once again Munawar goes behind him and tries to pull the towel. Karanvir on seeing it starts to laugh.
Then the pledge begins, and all the contestants begin to say the pledge. They all go, “mai lock upp ko saakshi maankar yeh prann leta/ leti hu ki imaandari se sabhi niyamo ka paalan karunga/ karungi. Har kaam ko pram karunga/ karungi, har faarz ko saalam karunga/ karungi. Apne saare daag iss jail mei mitaunga/ mitaungi. Aur apna har din pashchatap karne mei bitaunga/ bitaungi. Just after the pledge is over Munawar again goes behind Shivam and says, “bhai sunn naah, areeh sunn naah.” And start to sing Sawariyaa. Shivam again says, “seriously kuch nahi pehna hua hai bhai.” After that Shivam comes in front of the camera and says, the pledge is pledge even if you are taking bath or doing anything else, you should respect the pledge always.
