Manoj Bajpayee and Konkana Sen Sharma are two of the most iconic actors in the Bollywood industry. The powerhouses are coming together for Abhishek Chaubey’s hilarious crime web series titled Killer Soup. The makers have released the trailer of the show, spiking up the audience’s curiosity.
On the 3rd of January, Netflix released the trailer of the series. It shares glimpses of the intriguing plot and has generated high hopes in the minds of the viewers. Manoj Bajpayee and Konkana Sen Sharma’s on-screen chemistry has been buzzing all over the internet.
Taking to Netflix India’s official handle, the trailer was released. The caption for the post reads, “Umesh and Swathi are stirring up the most bizarre crime thriller of the year- and the secrets are about to boil over!”
Fans couldn’t hold onto their excitement and bombarded the comment section with exciting messages. A user stated, “Legends are back,” while another said, “Are bhai sara talent ek series mei daal diya kya.” A netizen commented, “Wow, Manoj Bajpayee has been crushing the content game! What a run he’s having. And he’s looking better than ever doing it. So excited to watch!”
Killer Soup is directed by Abhishek Chaubey, who has also helmed projects such as Dedh Ishqiya, Sonchiriya and Ishqiya. The series features Manoj Bajpayee, Konkana Sen Sharma, Nasser, Anula Navlekar, Sayaji Shinde and others. The upcoming web show has been written and created by Abhishek, Anant Tripathi, Unaiza Merchant and Harshad Nalawade. Killer Soup is slated to release on the 11th of January 2024.
On the work front, Manoj Bajpayee was last seen in Gulmohar, which also featured Sharmila Tagore. Next, he played the role of advocate in Sirf Ek Bandaa Kaafi Hai, which has been a huge success. He also starred in Devashish Makhija’s Joram which was received positively by the audience.
Meanwhile, Konkana will be appearing in Anurag Basu’s Metro In Dino, which features Aditya Roy Kapoor, Sara Ali Khan and Pankaj Tripathi in key roles.
