Karan Johar unveils first promo of Koffee With Karan Season 8; Deepika Padukone & Ranveer Singh to be first guests – WATCH

Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh will make their first appearance on a show together after their marriage in 2018.

And it’s finally available!! While everyone was waiting to see who would open Karan Johar’s ‘Koffee With Karan Season 8’, he has finally revealed the answer.

Karan and Disney+Hotstar took to Instagram to share a promo clip of Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh, two of Bollywood’s most popular couples. This is the couple’s first appearance on a show since their marriage in 2018.

The host, Karan Johar, introduces Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh as Bollywood royalty. There were also other snippets from the supposed Rapid Fire Round, in which Karan asks Deepika if she would ever consider dating Rocky Randhawa. Deepika Padukone replies, “I am married to Rocky Randhawa.”

While Karan praises the couple, Ranveer refers to him as “Tharki uncle”. Then it cuts to shots of the three dancing while wearing headphones. “Kya hi ho raha hai duniya mein, Karan kaale kapde pehen raha hai,” said Ranveer. Karan also asks Deepika, ‘Aside from Ranveer, who do you think she has the best on-screen connection with?’ Deepika mentions Hrithik Roshan and promises that their chemistry will be seen on the big screen soon. To spice things up, Ranveer mimics Hrithik and says, “Can’t wait to see it, yaara!”

Deepika Padukone is working on various projects. She will co-star in the film ‘Fighter’ with Hrithik Roshan. The actors will play Air Force pilots in the flick. It also has key performances by Anil Kapoor and Karan Singh Grover. She will then co-star in ‘Kalki 2898 AD’ with Prabhas, Amitabh Bachchan, and Kamal Haasan. She has also joined Rohit Shetty’s cop world, playing a female cop in ‘Singham 3’.

Meanwhile, Ranveer Singh is likely to take over for Shah Rukh Khan in the ‘Don’ series. Farhan Akhtar’s ‘Don 3’ will have him as the lead. In addition, he will appear in Karan Johar’s ‘Takht’ and Rohit Shetty’s ‘Simmba 2’.
