Jury Duty has rapidly become one of the most highly anticipated comedies across global out-of-home digital video networks due to its unique hidden-camera technique, capturing real people unwittingly participating in pre-planned, ludicrous & outrageous scenarios featuring actors. The Emmy-nominated series, which captivated audiences with a jury trial hoax in season one, now returns for a second season called Jury Duty Presents: Company Retreats. The second season is being developed as a family-run hot sauce company retreat, featuring ongoing comedic experiences based on experiences every worker has at some point. Season two is set for release globally on Prime Video on March 20, 2026.

Jury Duty Season 2 Release Date

Jury Duty’s Season Two will now be referred to as Jury Duty Presents: Company Retreat and will premiere on March 20th, 2026, on Amazon Prime Video only, rather than as a full binge drop on day one like Season One; hence, it is going to be broken down into many parts with the following schedule:

  • March 20, 2026 – First 3 episodes

  • March 27, 2026 – Next 2 episodes

  • April 3, 2026 – Final 3 episodes (season finale)

Additionally, Season Two will be made available to view on Prime Video (vs Amazon Freevee), due to the success of Season One. The filming for Season Two was completed ahead of time to keep the authenticity of the season based on being a “prank”.

Jury Duty Season 2 Cast Updates

Season 2 will feature an entirely new cast of members, with no returning main cast members from Season 1. A new unsuspecting participant is again placed at the center of the experiment, surrounded by professional actors.

Confirmed cast members include:

  • Alex Bonifer
  • Blair Beeken
  • Emily Pendergast
  • Erica Hernandez
  • Jerry Hauck
  • Rachel Kaly
  • Rob Lathan
  • Warren (last name not fully disclosed in official listings)

The cast consists of improvisational comedians and actors with backgrounds in shows like The Office, The Comeback, and other comedy projects. The identity of the real, unaware participant is being kept secret until the premiere.

Jury Duty Season 2 Potential Plot

In season two of the series, the show has moved away from the courtroom and now takes place at a corporate off-site or company retreat. It will continue to follow the small family-owned hot sauce company in a ‘David Vs Goliath’ battle against larger corporations.

The show will continue with the same format that it had in season one (i.e., there will be one real person (as in previous seasons); everybody else on the show is an actor; everything will be 100% scripted (in the entire situation); and all situations will have similar expectations (e.g., awkward team building exercises, ridiculous office politics, exaggerated boss and co-worker interactions, including increasing social pressure throughout the retreat as there is no longer any order in how things are being done).

Although the docu-style, hidden camera format of comedy will remain intact as the core of the series (which allowed season one to become an Emmy-winning breakout hit), the entire premise changed to incorporate this new setting.
