Apple TV+ has confirmed the renewal of Invasion for third installment. The sci-fi series is created by Simon Kinberg and David Well and the news about its renewal comes after more than three months since the season two of the show concluded. The production for upcoming season will go on floors later this month.
In a statement, Kinberg said, “This new season will continue to build on the scale, stakes, and propulsion of the Invasion, while keeping our characters front and center, bringing them together in ways that will hopefully surprise and most importantly move our audience.”
The shows is told from the perspective of people in various parts of the world who are living through an alien invasion. The show’s cast includes Golshifteh Farahani, Shioli Kutsuna, India Brown, Azhy Robertson, Shamier Anderson, Billy Barratt, Paddy Holland, Enver Gjokaj, Tara Moayedi, Naian Gonzalez Norvind, and Nedra Marie Taylor.
Kinberg and Weil is also serving as executive producer along with Audrey Chon, Alik Sakharov, Katie O’Connell Marsh, Andrew Baldwin, David Witz, and Dan Dietz.
