Taking the fans by surprise, Inside Edge is back with yet another exciting sequel. The makers of the show have announced the next season, season 3 of ‘Inside Edge’.
The announcement was made on the official Instagram handle of Amazon Prime Video. The streaming platform revealed the update through a poster that states “More Cricket, More Drama, More Entertainment” is in store in Inside Edge Season 3, which will premiere soon.
The third season of the cricket-based drama show will feature actors Richa Chadha, Vivek Oberoi, Sayani Gupta, Tanuj Virwani and others reprising their roles.
The second season of the popular web-series ended on a cliffhanger where the Mumbai Mavericks received a two-year ban from from competing in the PPL after its owners get embroiled in match-fixing and illegal betting allegations. While some are sentenced to jail, the others are formulating yet another alliance, that the fans have been anticipating ever since the end of the last season.
The web-series that features on Amazon Prime Video revolves around the cricket team, Mumbai Mavericks and its owner Zarina Malik as she fights to achieve supremacy in the game which is more of a business embroiled in match-fixing, doping and more.
The series produced by Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani, will be directed by Kanishk Varma and will feature Aamir Bashir, Amit Sial, Akshay Oberoi and Sidhant Gupta in key roles.
