The cutthroat world of high finance never sleeps, and neither does Industry, HBO’s gripping drama that pulls back the curtain on London’s youngest investment bankers. As fans eagerly await the next installment, whispers of Season 4 have been building buzz across social media and entertainment outlets. With the show’s signature blend of ambition, excess, and emotional wreckage, this upcoming season promises to crank up the stakes even higher. Let’s dive into the latest on release details, fresh cast updates, and plot.

Industry Season 4 Release Details

Filming wrapped in late September 2025 in London and Cardiff. Post-production on this show takes forever because they’re obsessed with getting the trading-floor chatter perfect. Everyone from the editors to the sound guys keeps saying the same thing: summer 2026 is locked. Most likely July or August, same Sunday-night slot Season 3 had. HBO already quietly renewed it for Season 4 back in September 2024, so no last-minute panic this time.

Industry Season 4 Expected Cast

  • Marisa Abela (Yasmin) – obviously the main character now, deal with it
  • Myha’la (Harper) – signed for two more seasons, she’s not going anywhere
  • Harry Lawtey (Robert) – still the messy heart of the show
  • Ken Leung (Eric) – bigger role this year, finally
  • Kit Harington (Henry Muck) – series regular now, not just a fancy guest
  • Jay Duplass (Jesse Bloom) – back and apparently way more evil
  • Sarah Goldberg – new series regular playing Petra Koenig, some German hedge-fund ice queen who buys half of Pierpoint
  • Miriam Petche (Sweetpea) and Indy Lewis (Naomi) both promoted to regular too

They killed off a couple background traders to make room on the call sheet. No tears shed.

Industry Season 4 Potential Plot

Season 4 picks up literally the morning after the Season 3 finale. Pierpoint has been fully swallowed by this monster called Al-Miraj Capital (Qatari money mixed with Silicon Valley crypto bros). Half the floor gets laid off in episode 1. The rest are forced to move to a new glass tower in Canary Wharf that everyone hates because the desks are hot-desk only and the coffee is worse.

Harper is technically fired but somehow worms her way back in through Jesse Bloom’s new fund. Yasmin is broke for real this time because daddy’s money is frozen. Robert is sober-curious and spiraling. Eric is interim CEO for five minutes before Petra shows up and starts speaking German at him.

There’s a running joke all season that nobody actually understands what the new company even does anymore – it’s green energy credits, NFTs, some AI thing, nobody knows. They just keep shouting bigger numbers.

They shot a whole episode in Doha that looks insane, and there’s a two-hander episode between Yasmin and Harper in a five-star hotel suite that had the crew crying on set. Apparently it’s brutal.
