Gen V, a spin-off of The Boys, has now released its concluding trailer. The series, which is set in a universe where superheroes exist but many of them have terrible traits, was created by Craig Rosenberg, Evan Goldberg, and Eric Kripke. These people, in contrast to conventional superheroes, did not naturally acquire their skills. Instead, a formula highly guarded by the Vought Corporation and the source of the show’s name, Compound V, was provided to the team. Gen V is being produced by Eric Kripke, who also created the original series.

The Godolkin University School of Crimefighting is depicted in the final video as a menacing establishment with a Vought-inspired dark twist, like the Charles Xavier School for Gifted Children. Although the show is about teenagers, numerous R-rated elements, like gore and sex blended with humor, are featured.
Synopsis
Gen V’s official synopsis reads, “Set in the diabolical world of The Boys, Gen V expands the universe to Godolkin University, the prestigious superhero-only college where students train to be the next generation of heroes—preferably with lucrative endorsements. You know what happens when supes go bad, but not all superheros start out corrupt. Beyond the typical college chaos of finding oneself and partying, these kids are facing explosive situations … literally. As the students vie for popularity and good grades, it’s clear that the stakes are much higher when superpowers are involved. When the group of young supes discover that something bigger and sinister is going on at school, they’re put to the test: Will they be the heroes or the villains of their stories?”
