Deadloch Season 2: Plot details
They’re heading north for Season Two of Deadloch from Tasmania’s ‘Tassie Noir’ to Australia’s reach in the sweltering heat of the Northern Territory (including Darwin and the remote town of Barra Creek), soon after they start recording.
Detective Dulcie Collins and Detective Eddie Redcliffe investigate the death of Eddie’s previous police partner (Bushy). The case takes a dangerous twist when they discover the body of a certain animal inside a crocodile (or a related croc). By then, there are also elements like heat and discomfort, troubled locals living in the middle of nowhere, Indigenous rangers attempting to enforce the law, secrets in the outback, and hilarious comedy-mystery twists.
The signature aspect of Deadloch will be the sharp comedic social commentary, banter between detectives, and a murder investigation, all of which will be complemented with elements that fit with the tropical climate and topics surrounding outback tourism and First Nations culture.
The official trailer has already been released: ‘Deadloch Season 2 Official Trailer | Prime Video’, available on YouTube ( you may check out the trailer to see how many crocodiles are going to be in Season 2).
