Man, the second that Season 1 finale hit, everyone lost their minds. Fisk out here declaring martial law, Punisher in a cage, Bullseye running wild, Matt looking like he aged ten years in one night… yeah, Season 2 has a lot to answer for. Good news is they’re not making us wait forever.

Daredevil Born Again Season 2 Release Details

March 3, 2026. That’s the day Disney+ drops the first episode. Charlie Cox himself slipped and said it during a random radio interview in London last month, then Dario Scardapane (the showrunner) just straight-up posted “03.03.26” on his private Instagram story with the devil emoji. Marvel quietly confirmed it two days later. Eight episodes again, weekly drops, just like the first season. They started shooting back in February 2025 all over NYC – Brooklyn, Queens, even did some night shoots on the actual Roosevelt Island tram because why not go hard.

Daredevil Born Again Season 2 Expected Cast

  • Charlie Cox – obviously back as Matt, rocking the black suit with the proper double-D logo now (set photos from March went viral).
  • Vincent D’Onofrio – Kingpin is basically the mayor-turned-dictator at this point.
  • Jon Bernthal – Punisher escapes the raft in episode one, trust me.
  • Deborah Ann Woll – Karen’s front and center, digging into Fisk’s money trail.
  • Wilson Bethel – Bullseye is 100% the big bad for the first half.
  • Krysten Ritter – Jessica Jones appears in episode 3, drunk and pissed off as ever. The bar scene with Matt is already legendary from leaked rehearsal clips.
  • New faces: Matthew Lillard is playing a creepy FBI guy who’s secretly on Fisk’s payroll, and Lili Taylor is the new Governor who’s trying to take Fisk down the legal way (spoiler: it backfires hard).

Foggy’s “death” from Season 1? They’re handling it with flashbacks and some dream-sequence stuff Elden Henson filmed in April. Dude’s in at least four episodes.

Daredevil Born Again Season 2 Potential Plot

Season opens literally the next morning after the finale. Curfew’s in effect, AVTF (those anti-vigilante cops) are beating the crap out of anyone in a mask, and Fisk is on TV smiling like he cured crime. Matt’s hiding in a church basement running an underground clinic with Claire Temple (yeah, Rosario Dawson’s back for two episodes).

Whole season is basically Daredevil trying to build a resistance while Fisk turns New York into his personal empire. Think “The Dark Knight Returns” but way bloodier and with way more Catholic guilt. By episode five the city’s basically split in half – Fisk controls everything above 96th Street, everything below is vigilante territory.

Big comic arcs they’re pulling from: the Shadowland stuff (Matt gets real dark), a bit of Mayor Fisk from the current comics, and heavy Born Again vibes even though Season 1 already used that title.
