The trailer for Varun Dhawan and Sara Ali Khan starrer Coolie No 1 is out now. It is the remake of the 1995 film of the same name. The film is directed by David Dhawan who also directed the original film which starred Govinda and Karishma Kapoor in lead roles.
As the trailer begins, we see Paresh Rawal boasting that his daughter (Sara) has got the world’s richest man who owns the Burj Khalifa and can even buy the White House. Then we see Varun flaunting his wealth in many instances. In one of the instances, he says that he is on a conference call with Ambani, Trump and Modi.
In the beginning, the trailer reminds us of the original movie but it adds on with the picturesque locations which the original lacked. Sara Ali Khan and Varun Dhawan are seen dancing in the locations to what seems to be remixes of the iconic songs. In addition to all of this, a Judwa angle is added to the film.
Initially, the movie was supposed to be released in May but got delayed due to the pandemic. Now, it will be released on Amazon Prime Video on 25th December. The film also stars Johnny Lever, Paresh Rawal and Javed Jaferi in important roles.
