Bridgerton fans, Brace yourselves as the much-awaited third season is coming your way. Netflix’s romantic drama web series created by Shondaland is going to premiere in 2024. The third instalment is further divided into two parts. With Part 1 premiering on the 16th of May and Part 2 releasing on the 13th of June.
The upcoming third season of Bridgerton will focus on the sparkling love interest of Penelope Featherington (Nicola Coughlan) and Colin Bridgerton (Luke Newton).
The storyline of the third season will revolve around Penelope losing away on her infatuation with Colin as she hears derogatory remarks. She embarks on a pursuit to find a husband who respects her independence and allows her to play two different identities.
Colin meanwhile returns from his travels and figures that Penelope has distanced herself from him. He seems to miss out on a special bond with her. To reconcile their relationship, Colin offers her guidance on confidence building. However, with their leading meetings, Colin seems to develop feelings for her.
It would be intriguing to know how Penelope would manage her position in the high-class society and also stick loyal to her hidden role as Lady Whistledown. Last year’s Tudum festival revealed that the premiere episode is titled ‘Out of the Shadows,’ which includes the narrator Lady Whistledown, who is voiced by Julie Andrews.
