The new garba anthem of the festive season has been launched finally that’s brought to you by the ‘Maja Ma’ production team. ‘Maja Ma’ is the first Indian Amazon Original Movie starring the dancing diva of Bollywood Madhuri Dixit that’s gearing up to release while the first song has already been launched today.
Madhuri who made her streaming debut with the Netflix thriller series ‘The Fame Game’, released earlier this year will be seen in the shoes of a new character in OTT but this time gracing with her garba moves.
The Bollywood dance diva can be seen on fire in her spectacular garba steps. The enchanting song has been sung by Shreya Ghoshal and Osman Mir, composed by Souumil Shringarpure and Siddharth Mahadevan, written by Priya Saraiya and choreographed by Kruti Mahesh.
Directed by Anand Tiwari and written by Sumit Batheja, Maja Ma synopsis reads “a family entertainer, set against the celebratory backdrop of a traditional festival and a quintessential, colorful Indian wedding”. It’s also the first Indian original produced by the streamer as Amazon Prime Video has previously only acquired Indian titles.
The Viralvyani in his IG handle posts a clip of the song Boom Padi where the glances of the sets can be seen. The post caption reads “Experience the magic of dance this festive season as Madhuri Dixit Nene and her Maja Ma family perform Garba on the upbeat dance number Boom Padi from the first Indian Amazon Original Movie – Maja Ma…..”
The video features Madhuri Dixit Nene in a gorgeous purple and green sequenced ghagra along with her co-stars in a jubilant rostrum performing garba enthusiastically and whole heartedly. The charismatic performance spells bound the gathered crowd to get lost in her aura and graceful moves and youthful expressions.

On the other hand, Singer Shreya Ghoshal speaking about the song says,
“I am so happy and excited to be have sung this brilliant song,” “I was fortunate enough to have sung the first-ever song of my career for a Madhuri Dixit starrer – Devdas – and of course have sung many other songs for her after that. ‘Boom Padi’ is even more special for me as it is Madhuri ji’s first-ever garba dance number. While the male singer Osman Mir’s statement records, “It is such a wonderful coincidence that I started my Bollywood singing career with a garba song and today it is yet another garba song that I have sung. The vibrancy of the beats and the energy with which the song has been picturized are sure to hook the viewers in. Maja Ma cast list includes more names, Gajraj Rao, Ritwik Bhowmik, Barkha Singh, Srishti Shrivastava, Rajit Kapur, Sheeba Chaddha, Simone Singh, Malhar Thakar and Ninad Kamat. The film is slated to be released on Amazon Prime Video on October 6.
