Bill Hader’s character Barry has often faced challenges head-on. On the other hand, when we watch Barry season 4 online, the titular hitman and aspiring actor is in a very different situation.
When we last saw Barry, his acting coach Gene Cousineau (Henry Winkler) had finally turned on him and helped set up the trap that resulted in Barry’s arrest.
He will now run into his previous handler, Monroe Fuches (Stephen Root), while he is behind bars. In the interim, everyone who knew Barry on the outside, including his ex-girlfriend Sally (Sarah Goldberg), would have to answer questions regarding their relationships to him.

Noho Hank by Anthony Carrigan is one of them. Carrigan completely owns one of the best moments of the season, as my Barry season 4 review describes.
On Sunday, April 16, HBO will air Barry season 4 episode 1 at 10:01 p.m. ET, followed by episode 2 at 10:30 p.m. At that time, HBO Max also broadcasts it live.
