The actress took over as the captain of the Bigg Boss OTT 2 house on Monday. This came after surviving three consecutive eviction nominations since the start of the reality show hosted by Salman Khan and streamed on JioCinema. Abhishek Malhan, the YouTuber, was removed from the captaincy by Bigg Boss due to breaking the rule of not sleeping on the show. Consequently, Jiya was appointed as the new captain of the house.
