The Wheel of Time will continue to revolve for a long time because Amazon Video announced a renewal six months before the show’s November 2021 premiere on the platform.
In conclusion, season two of The Wheel of Time is a certainty. In actuality, the second season’s filming wrapped up in the spring of 2022, and it is currently in post-production, according to DigitalSpy.
Vernon Sanders, the show’s fan, explained the reasons behind the early second season renewal to Amazon Studios’ Head of Global TV before the first finale aired. He said, “We’re fans of the show, and as episodes came in and we saw the level of craftsmanship, and as we continued to talk to (showrunner) Rafe (Judkins) about where future seasons would go, we felt really confident that we had something that could go for a very long time for us. These are giant investments, so obviously we spent quite a bit of time making sure we were making the right choice here, but it continues to pay off for us. All credit to Rafe and his incredible team, and the cast led by Rosamund (Pike as Moiraine).”

Expected Release: The Wheel of Time Season 2
If Faile has a role to play in the upcoming episodes of The Wheel of Time, fans won’t know for sure until the season 2 premiere, and they could have to wait a while. Judkins earlier shot down reports that the second season will premiere in the first half of 2023, though he did say it would happen at some point in that year. “I do believe Season 2 will be premiering in 2023. I think ‘early’ — there’s still a lot of work that we’ve got to do on the show in (post-production), VFX, all of that,” he said. “So I would not expect it in early 2023, but you can expect it in 2023.”
