All you need to know about ‘The Night Agent’

Shawn Ryan is the creator of the upcoming American action-thriller television series The Night Agent, which is based on the Matthew Quirk novel of the same name. On March 23, 2023, Netflix is set to debut it.

The story of the series revoleves around Peter Sutherland of the FBI who is drawn into a massive plot involving a Russian spy operating at the highest levels of the American government. While working with the terrified CEO Rose Larkin and defending her from the people she named her aunt and uncle, Peter embarks on a desperate search for the traitor in an effort to preserve the country.

Trailer of The Night Agent

The trailer  depicts Peter locating a bomb on a train and evacuating everyone. The explosive indeed detonates. The President’s Chief of Staff, Diane Farr (Hong Chau), then greets Peter upon his arrival at the White House. “Have you ever heard of Night Action? It’s a top secret investigative program within the FBI,” she tells him. “So you want me to be a Night Agent?” he asks. “God, no,” she corrects him. “I want you to answer the phone for them. It rarely rings.” But then the phone does ring, and that’s how Peter meets Rose Larkin (Luciane Buchanan). It’s up to him to protect her, and they must work together to uncover the conspiracy that ultimately leads all the way to the Oval Office.
