Chucky, the campy and chaotic red-headed killer doll, made his screen debut in 1988 in the slasher horror film Child’s Play. With a total of eight films, Child’s Play has grown into one of the most popular horror franchises of all time.

The Chucky television series premiered in the autumn of 2021, presenting the twisted yet hilarious little monster to a whole new generation of fans. A third season of Chucky is currently in the works, continuing the story from the films, and we’ve put what we know so far into a convenient guide. Continue reading to find out all we know so far about Chucky Season 3.

The best horror villains, they say, never die. They eventually find their way back. Similarly, Chucky returns for a third season. The horror television series Chucky is a direct sequel to the seventh film in the Child’s Play franchise, Cult of Chucky.

Three weeks after the events of the previous film, Chucky returns to Hackensack, New Jersey. Jake Wheeler (Zackary Arthur), 14, discovers the infamous Good Guy doll at a yard sale and brings him home to utilise in a Halloween art project. Jake quickly realises that the doll is inhabited by serial killer Charles Lee Ray.

Jake, who is struggling with his sexuality and is being led to commit terrible crimes by Chucky, swiftly becomes the lead suspect in a series of strange incidents and horrific killings.

Chucky usually comes back, but this time he’s given us a date so we can plan accordingly. A new season of Syfy and USA Network’s Chucky will begin on October 4, 2023, when the killer doll will once again take over Peacock. This provides viewers with three options for tuning in for a new season of terror as Jake (Zackary Arthur), Devon (Bjorgvin Arnarson), and Lexy (Alyvia Alyn Lind) face the little psychopath.

Chucky answers questions about the show’s third season from a microphone in front of a swarm of flashing cameras. For starters, our queen Jennifer Tilly will return, which is fantastic news considering Tiffany Valentine, Tilly’s character, was left hanging in Season 2.

Devon Sawa, who was killed off twice in the first season, reappeared in the second season in a completely different position, which also resulted in a horrific and horrible death.

Because Chucky and Sawa had a Twitter spat, the former was unwilling to give any hints as to what Season 3 might hold for the Final Destination actor. Most significantly, the press learned not to bring up other killer dolls, such as M3GAN and Annabelle, because he still feels he is superior.

In the last season of Chucky, the titular doll returns to his murderous ways, this time accompanying Jake, Lexy, and Devon to their new digs within a Catholic reformatory. Andy (Alex Vincent), Kyle (Christine Elise), and Nica (Fiona Dourif) were reunited with audiences, as were Glen and Glenda (Lachlan Watson), who had not been seen since the preceding 2004 picture Seed of Chucky.
