On Friday, Akshay Kumar startles millions of his followers proclaiming his new project titled ‘Cuttputli’. The teaser is yet to be released tomorrow and the movie will release directly on the OTT platform Disney+ Hotstar on 2nd September.
Along with the announcement he also shares a small glance of the movie in his Instagram account that doubled the level of enthusiasm for the movie buffs. The clip shows Akshay as a police officer who’s running after perhaps some unsolved mystery.
Featuring Rakul Preet and in collaboration with veteran Jackky Bhagnani’s Pooja Entertainment, under the direction of ‘Bell Bottom’, Ranjit M Tiwari the movie is gearing up to hit the OTT screen.

Looking back at Akshay’s previous works this year ‘Bachchan Pandey’, ‘Prithviraj’, or ‘Raksha Bandhan’ there could be seen a great fall in box office hence this new arrived project is under pressure of a bulk of expectations. Hopefully the film will compensate for the previous failures.
Moreover, there comes up a news of another project by Akshay that’s Ram Setu an action adventure drama film directed by Abhishek Sharma assumed to be released in 2023.
