The dance reality show Dance Deewane 3 would feature none other than Olympic medalist Meerabai Chanu on Independence Day when India is ready to commemorate the country’s platinum jubilee.

The athlete was the first to bring a medal home from the Tokyo Olympics 2020 in weightlifting. She inaugurated the winning spree by grabbing the silver medal in the 49 kg category.

The 75th Independence Day will be showcased with sizzling dance performances with Mirabai Chanu as a guest celebrity on Dance Deewane 3 along with the phenomenal judges of the show, Madhuri Dixit, Dharmesh Yalende, Tushar Kalia and hosts Harsh Lambachiyaa and Bharti Singh.

Other sports personalities and celebrities would also be present on the occasion like former all-rounder cricketer Kapil Dev, Indian Fencer Bhavani Devi (Tokyo Olympic Debutant) former first-class cricketer Mohinder Amarnath and wrestler Priya Malik.

Contestants across the country would be doing their dynamic performances on national television aired on Colors T.V.

Mirabai from Manipur is India’s first Olympic silver medalist in weightlifting as she inaugurated India’s history after opening an account at the Olympic Games in Tokyo.

Chanu won silver in the women’s weightlifting 49 kg category.

She finished the event with 202 kg and registered her name in the books of history by winning the silver medal at the Olympic games.

The athlete is also a Padma Shri awardee and has been facilitated with the Rajiv Gandhi Khel award too in 2018 for her contribution in sports.
