IST Entertainment issued a statement on THE BOYZ’s official fan café on February 26 regarding the ongoing legal action against false rumours and breaches of privacy.
Last year, IST Entertainment, formerly known as Cre.ker, said that they will sue those who propagate false stories or persons who invade an artist’s privacy.
They started their statement by thanking the fan community of THE BOYZ. Then they went on to say that they received the material that the complainant had supplied them and also collected their own evidence internally. So, they filed their case with the criminal investigation authorities through their legal representation on March 25, 2021.
Following that, they proceeded to look for further evidence and collected evidence emailed to them by fans, allowing their legal professionals to offer their collected proof and paperwork for evaluation throughout the inquiry.
They said that their artists are still suffering from “mental pain and psychological anxiety” as a result of the development and propagation of false stories. As a result, they’re filing a lawsuit against them.
They further said that there have been repeated intrusions of the artists’ private life, including private locations such as “the dorm, agency offices, and hair salons and conflict with the group’s staff members,” even after they acknowledged this conduct in a statement on June 22, 2021.
Finally, they request that unlawfully acquiring the artists’ contact information and aggressively phoning and texting them be stopped.
