K-pop band Red Velvet has finally announced the schedule for their upcoming album ‘Queendom’.

The K-Pop group Red Velvet on August 2 had announced their upcoming sixth mini-album ‘Queendom’, which will mark their comeback after a year and a half. Now, on Tuesday (August 3) the girl group released the schedule as they gave their fandom ‘RaVeluvs’ all the more reasons to stay thrilled for their upcoming release.

The members of Red Velvet have released a cute and detailed calendar that reveals what fans can expect in the weeks prior to their comeback with ‘Queendom’.

Beginning tomorrow, the schedule has a mood sampler, multiple teasers, concept photos, an MV teaser video, and the main music video titled ‘Queendom,’ which will be released on August 16 at 6 p.m. KST (2:30 pm IST). The mini-album will be released the following day, August 17, at 6 p.m. KST (2:30 pm IST).

The comeback calendar seems to have been designed in the style of a comic strip, complete with pastel colours and fun elements such as balloons, stilettos, an aeroplane, and a red mailbox. With this grand comeback, it appears that Red Velvet will combine their dual concepts of bright and frisky ‘red’ and mature and sensual ‘velvet’.

Meanwhile, the group has kept their fans well engaged as they prepared for their return with a special promotional event called “Queens Mystic General Store” in which they released “archive videos” for several fan-favourite B-sides. It was a week-long project as the girl’s group celebrated their 7th debut anniversary.
