Rapper King and Nick Jonas collaborate on a new rendition of “Maan Meri Jaan”

This Friday, the song titled “Maan Meri Jaan (Afterlife)” is scheduled to be released (March 10).

Singer-songwriter King’s new rendition of the blockbuster hit song “Maan Meri Jaan” will feature US pop artist Nick Jonas. The two artists announced their collaboration and shared a poster in a joint Instagram post. According to their post, this Friday will see the release of their forthcoming song, named “Maan Meri Jaan (Afterlife)”.

“‘Maan Meri Jaan (Afterlife)’ is out this Friday! Link in bio to pre-save,” the caption of the post read. “Let’s go,” Nick Jonas wrote in the comment section.

As they poured love and appreciation for the two stars in the comment section, fans of the two stars were unable to contain their excitement about the partnership. Priyanka Chopra shared the track’s poster on her Instagram account and supported her husband Nick Jonas’ cooperation with the Indian musician.

Meanwhile, in the comment section of the post, while some social media users called it “collab of the year,” others said, “this is going to be huge”. “Wooow seriously wooow this is another level,” wrote one user. “Super excited for this banger,” said another. A third commented, “King setting standard higher than previous year,” while a fourth simply added, “Collab of the year already!” Since being shared, the post has accumulated more than 544,000 likes.

Since his debut album, “Tu Aake Dekhle,” King, also known as Arpan Kumar Chandel, has been a popular artist. His song “Maan Meri Jaan” did, however, capture the nation’s attention last year.

Previously, the singer uploaded a special Instagram photo in honour of hitting 250 million views on YouTube and said, “I know what’s calling me. 2 Albums in 200 million club of an Indian artist on Spotify in just 2 years. The scene may not know or won’t tell you but The Insiders & Artists know what I’m talking about right here”.

With his song “Sahi Galat,” which was featured in Ajay Devgn’s “Drishyam 2,” King has also made his Bollywood debut.
