Rocket Power, a new album by Quavo, has been announced. The rapper from the Migos debuted the new album with a video that shows a huge CGI rocket getting ready to blast out into space while Quavo raps in front of it. A new album will be released on August 4.

In a statement alongside the video, Quavo shared: “This Album Is Embodying All My Emotions. Through the process of healing I’ve learned to turn tragedy into triumph. I had to dig deep into my purpose and find the power to keep striving. To my fans, thanks for being patient wit me and supporting Us. To my FAMILY, even when times get hard we kno our MAIN mission is to keep the Rocket name ALIVE. TIL INFINITY.”

The Last Rocket, Takeoff’s final album, was published in 2018, and Rocket Power will be the first album by Quavo after Takeoff, a fellow Migos member, was shot and died outside a Houston, Texas, bowling alley in November 2022. Following their most recent tracks “Greatness” and “Honey Bun,” Quavo and Future debuted a brand-new song earlier this month called “Turn Yo Clic Up.”

Quavo and Takeoff had recently launched their collaborative album, Only Built for Infinity Links, before Quavo passed away. Quavo released the song “Without You,” a memorial to his late nephew, earlier this year. He performed it for the first time at the Grammy Awards with Maverick City Music during the ceremony’s in memoriam portion. In 2018, Quavo released his debut album, QUAVO HUNCHO. Culture III, the last album of The Migos, was released in 2021.
