American songwriter and singer Olivia Rodrigo has recently announced on Instagram her upcoming sophomore studio album. The title of the album is ‘Guts’. The 20-year-old took to Instagram to announce the most anticipated news for her followers. The date for the release of the album is 8th September. 2023.
She made this revelation on her Instagram account last night, through a post with the caption ” My sophomore album GUTS comes out September 8th. i am so proud of this record and I can’t wait to share it with you all! u can pre save it now! xoxoxoxo❤️💜💌🖤” . The singer has worldwide recognition with 32 million followers on Instagram.
The post gained more than 3 million of likes and 30 thousand comments within just a few hours. Along with users , major social media apps like Instagram and Facebook have also made comments on the revelation in her comment section through their official accounts. Instagram’s official account commented, “Can’t wait 🔥🔥🔥”.
While facebook comments, “olivia is in her horror era so i am too”. The upcoming album, produced by Dan Nigro, who also worked on Olivia Rodrigo’s previous album SOUR, was created in both New York City and Los Angeles. It will be introduced to the audience with the release of its lead single titled “Vampire,” which Olivia Rodrigo herself revealed a few weeks ago. This track, scheduled to be released on June 30, will serve as the Grammy winner’s first musical offering since 2021.
